Welcome! This guide is designed to give students a brief introduction to the D. Samuel Gottesman Library of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
What is my UserID and Password?

The Office of Medical Education provides first and second year medical students with a print allowance. These accounts are managed by the Library to enable you to use the Library's color and black and white printers.
When you print, you will be prompted to enter your user ID and password.
The user ID is the 5-digit number on your Einstein picture ID card.
The password is your last name.

The Library provides a free comb binding service to help you organize your printouts.
The Group Study Rooms are available when the Library is open.

The Library has 2 smart boards available for use. There is one in Group Study Room 1, and another in Group Study Room 2.

The Library has laptops, MacBooks, and iPads available to lend.
For your convenience, there is a wall-mount phone charging station in the Reading Room as well as a charging locker unit located in the Beren Study Center. The unit in the Beren Study Center has 8 bays of charging lockers, numbered from 1-8 and identifiable by their unique colors. Each locker bay has a variety of charging connectors (Apple Lightning, Apple 30-Pin, Micro USB, USB Type-C). The two bottom lockers also have electrical outlets. Instructions are posted.
